High-Res Yuki Nendoroid Pix

2009 June 24

It’s been a while since I posted a figure photo shoot.

One figure I would like to share is my Yuki Nagato (Suzumiya Haruhi) nendoroid. My second Nendoroid, it took a lot of back and forth before I committed. So here for you all is my Yuki in relatively high resolution images. You can use them as wallpaper or  something if you like. More pix after the jump! (caution, high bandwidth!)

      Thanks! It was seeing other people’s photos of Yuki that convinced me to buy!

    Really awesome photos! She seems to be quite cheerful, taking into account that we’re talking about Yuki here.

      Thanks! I had to put on her “happy face” for this one. The difference is so subtle, I thought I had gotten a spare face by mistake. :)

      Thanks. It’s a Canon Rebel XSI, with kit lens in case you’re wondering.

    Sweet stuff. Can’t say I’m into nendoroids in all honesty though, every other nendoroid I’ve gotten were always a “hell, why not?” kind of buy. Can’t deny that they’re really uber cute though.

    I guess space-wise they’re really inconvenient for me as well as I’ve never been a fan of figures that come with many parts, which is essentially one of the main selling point of nendoroids in that you can switch parts around for maximum cuteness. I tend to just stick to one thing, so spending money on parts I would never ever touch again probably discourages me from getting into them too much. That’s just me I guess ^^;

      You know, I’d have to say that I’m partially in the same boat as you. Only half of my collection were serious considerations, while the other half were “hell, why not?” buys. They are super cute, and sometimes, I prefer these to the actual figures. I really like their clean lines and general audience acceptance.

      They do take up quite a bit of space. Even though they’re small, they occupy the same space as most typical Kotobukiya figures. Their box sizes are pretty compact, I think. But yeah, I don’t really switch parts much either. It kinda does become a waste of money. I think they’re more for setting up scenarios, which I have yet to do.
